How to Help When Your Friend is Being Abused is a course designed to help readers do just that while staying both safe and sane. The student will learn about abusive relationships and domestic violence, also called intimate partner violence.
Bottom line: Worldwide, violence between persons who are married or in relationships, whether they are gay or straight, occurs in epidemic proportions and impacts millions of adults and their children. Understanding the signs of an abusive relationship and learning how to help, as well as learning how not to help, makes all the difference in how to respond to this all-too common problem.
