My name is A. Scott Roberts, and I have a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation counseling. I have worked in a clinical setting and taught at a university. I am also the creator and developer of the Truth of Addiction system. I have used, studied and taught mindfulness and mindful meditation practices with effectiveness, to those who are dealing with very significant barriers and have a hard time relaxing or getting into the right state of mind.

The fact is, when our mind is hurried, our brain does not think clearly. We often get that “monkey mind”. A mind where thoughts are jumping around and causes us stress or anxiety. And when we are prevented from getting our mind to a calm, relaxed state, our practice is often not as effective as it could be. This is what this course is about. We need to know how to get the mind to a relaxed and receptive state through the use of relaxation techniques and brainwave entrainment technology.

By the end of this course, you will understand the role of relaxation techniques and brainwave entrainment, to get you into a desired state, the research behind it, how to use it, and you can try it out for yourself.
