Getting Started with Xero – an Introduction and Overview

Welcome to our free mini-course on getting started with Xero.

In this short course we’re going to have a look at how you can sign up to a free trial period with Xero and then log on to your free trial account.

Then, we’ll do a quick tour of the Xero interface so you can get familiar with how it is laid out.

We’ll then have a look at where you go to setup your organisation’s settings – such as its name, contact details and structure – before having a look through the advanced settings area where you will go to set up your payroll settings, tax settings and much more.

We finish off by taking a tour of Xero’s amazing demo company so you can see:

• How you can use it as a guide to help you set up your business in Xero properly
• How you can use it to practise your bookkeeping skills
• And whether Xero does have all the capabilities you need do to the accounts for your business

By the end of the mini-course you should have a better idea as to whether Xero is right for you and whether you would like to sign up to a free trial.
